Ceramic Hippo Workshop

It’s fall, the kiln is firing, and the hippos are going ceramic!
Come sculpt your own one-of-a-kind ceramic hippo at Bonura Studios. I’ll guide you step-by-step through building your hippo from clay, while giving you plenty of room to add your own personality and details.
Make yours sweet, silly, fierce, fancy—or something completely unexpected!
After class, your hippo will stay at the studio to dry and be fired in the kiln. Once fired, you have two options for finishing your hippo:
Paint it at home with regular acrylic paints, or
Come back to glaze it at the studio for an additional $15. After glazing, I’ll fire it again to create that beautiful, glassy ceramic finish.

Optional Glazing Session: +$15
All clay, sculpting tools, and the first kiln firing are included. No previous sculpting experience is necessary.
