Public Art

(YardHomes Hippo, Hutto, Texas — fabricated by Set In Stone Statuary LLC)

Elizabeth Bonura creates sculptures for public spaces that people naturally gather around. Her work ranges from figurative sculptures that capture meaningful family moments to whimsical animal sculptures, including her recognizable hippos.

Some pieces reflect quiet relationships between people, while others bring humor and playfulness to parks, trails, and civic spaces.

Each sculpture begins as a hand-sculpted original in clay. Bonura then collaborates with fabricators and foundries to translate the work into durable materials suitable for outdoor installation.

Her sculptures are designed to be experienced from every angle—encouraging visitors to walk around them, photograph them, and sometimes even climb on them.

Bonura’s work can be found in sculpture gardens, along public trails, and in front of businesses and residential communities, including installations at Panera Bread and YardHomes in Hutto, Texas.
