This Pregnant Couple's sculpture's design is based off of my popular Just The Two Of Us Expecting Couple's Christmas Ornament. It will make the perfect Mothers Day gift for any Mom or mom-to-be! The expecting parents sculpture is about 9" tall and made of cold-casted Aluminum, Copper or Bronze depending on the finish you choose. These also make the perfect anniversary gift, mother's day day gift and even a baby shower gift for the soon to be new parents!

These sculptures can be personalized by adding additional children for a truly unique family portrait! If you would like to add any siblings to the sculpture, leave me a note as you check out with their ages and genders.

HOW I MADE IT: I sculpted the original design out of clay. Then I made a mold of the original sculpture. Finally, I cold cast the bronze, aluminum or copper and finished it with a metal coating. The sculpture is cold-cast bronze, copper or aluminum depending on the finish you choose. I use real bronze, copper or aluminum metal powder mixed with resin to create the sculpture casting. I finish the sculpture by buffing, polishing and waxing it. Because it is cold-casted, the sculpture is lighter than a solid metal piece which makes it ideal for shipping.

ABOUT MY DESIGNS: I create Family Christmas Ornaments, Anniversary Plaques and Sculptures all inspired by life, love, and mostly family! One key feature of my family designs is all the figures are connected and become one. I was greatly inspired by the idea of when a couple gets married, two become one. When I began to add children to my designs I continued the theme of connectedness by creating the children around the parents all emerging together.
