Commemorate your (7th, 8th or 10th) Wedding Anniversary with this Cold-Casted (Aluminum, Copper or Bronze) sculpture of your family of six! The children can be either boys, girls or both. Choose the option that matches your family best!
This is a for a family of six sculpture. As you check out, please be sure to tell me the genders of the children (preferably, youngest to oldest). Feel free to contact me if you have a different family size as I have several designs available. Custom designs are also available.
Engraving text or customizing hair is extra and might add to the processing time so please take that into consideration when ordering. Text can be engraved on the front or the back of the sculpture.
The sculpture is created using a cold-casting technique. "Cold-Casting" is a term used to describe the process of mixing metal powder with a resin to create castings that give the appearance of solid metal. The metal cold-cast process is faster and much less expensive compared with foundry casting of molten metal (lost wax process.) Actual aluminum (copper or bronze) metal is used in the casting and the sculpture is antiqued with a black wax.

How Your Sculpture Is Made
Each sculpture begins as an original clay piece, hand-sculpted in my studio.
From that original, I create a mold and cast each piece using real metal powder—such as copper, bronze, or aluminum—mixed with resin (this is called cold casting). Every sculpture is then carefully finished, buffed, and waxed by hand to bring out the natural metallic surface.
Because of this process, your sculpture has the look and feel of metal while remaining lighter and more practical for display and shipping.
