About Bonura Studios

Bonura Studios is a family-run sculpting studio in Hutto, Texas (just outside of Austin), where art, craftsmanship, and community come together. Visitors can step inside a working sculptor’s studio, see sculptures in progress, take hands-on clay classes, and experience the creative process up close.

Bonura Studios is more than a workspace — it’s a family-run studio built around creativity, craftsmanship, and shared effort.

Each sculpture begins as an original piece sculpted by Elizabeth Bonura. She works alongside her oldest son and his best friend, who assist with the production and finishing of many of the sculptures and ornaments created at the studio.

Elizabeth’s husband, James, creates the studio’s coin rings and helps behind the scenes with the day-to-day work of running a busy art studio. Together they help bring each piece to life and support the growing community of artists, students, and visitors who come through the studio doors.

Bonura Studios exists because of family, creativity, and the people who believe in the work. Elizabeth often says she could not be living this dream without their support.

Bonura Studios opened its doors to the public in Hutto, Texas on October 19, 2023, just outside Austin, as a place where people can create, learn, and connect through art. From sculpting classes and workshops to handcrafted sculptures created in the studio, Bonura Studios has become a gathering place for people who want to experience art in a hands-on way.
