September at Bonura Studios: Classes, Clay Club & Community Events
September is here, and there are lots of opportunities to sculpt, create and connect at Bonura Studios!
Whether you’re looking for a creative night out, want to learn something new, or have a young artist ready to get their hands into some clay, here’s what’s happening this month.
Kids Clay Club is Back!
Kids Clay Club returns September 9th!
Wednesdays & Fridays | 4:30–5:30 PM | $25 per session
Young artists can explore clay, learn sculpting techniques and work on creative projects in a real working art studio.
There’s no weekly commitment. Simply choose the Wednesday and Friday dates that work for your family. All materials are included.
September Workshops
September 12 — Sip & Sculpt: Blind Sculpting
Put down the expectations and just have fun creating! Blind Sculpting is a playful Sip & Sculpt experience that challenges you to create without relying on what you see.

September 13 — Sculpt a House Hippo
Create your own little Hutto-inspired hippo! I’ll guide you through the sculpting process step by step as you create a one-of-a-kind House Hippo of your own.
September 24 — Gnome Sculpting Workshop
Come spend some time in the studio creating a whimsical sculpted gnome. I’ll walk you through the process and help you give your gnome plenty of personality.[REGISTER FOR THE GNOME WORKSHOP]
September 27 — Ceramic Ghosts Workshop
Get ready for Halloween with a little clay! Sculpt your own ceramic ghosts while learning hand-building techniques in this fun seasonal workshop.

September 19 — TSOS Demo Day at the Georgetown Public Library
Members of the Texas Society of Sculptors will be sharing different sculpting materials, techniques and processes throughout the day.
September 20 — Austin Museum Day at UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum
I’ll be joining fellow Texas Society of Sculptors members at UMLAUF for Austin Museum Day. Come see sculpture, meet the artists and watch sculptors at work.
